Heart Attack Warning Signs
- Chest discomfort
An uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of the chest. Usually lasts more than a few minutes, or may go away and come back - Other upper body discomfort
Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach - Other warning signs
Shortness of breath
Lightheadedness
Cold sweats
Nausea

Stroke Warning Signs
- Sudden numbness or weakness
Usually affects the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body - Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
- Sudden trouble seeing
Either in one eye or both eyes - Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination
- Sudden, severe headache
With no known cause
