Heart Attack Warning Signs

  • Chest discomfort
    An uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of the chest. Usually lasts more than a few minutes, or may go away and come back
  • Other upper body discomfort
    Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach
  • Other warning signs
    Shortness of breath
    Lightheadedness
    Cold sweats
    Nausea

Stroke Warning Signs

  • Sudden numbness or weakness
    Usually affects the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
  • Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
  • Sudden trouble seeing
    Either in one eye or both eyes
  • Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination
  • Sudden, severe headache
    With no known cause
